Tala Majaj signs with UCSD!
Tala Majaj, Varsity goalie, has signed to play water polo with UCSD. She is credited with nearly 300 saves during the 2009 - 2010 season. As a junior, she set the school record with 21 saves in a single game and was later recognized as Team MVP. Majaj was named to the All-South Coast League First Team and was a Second Team All-CIF Southern Section Honoree. She was named Team Captain as a senior and finished the season as the Defensive MVP.
Hilary Campbell commits to Chapman University!
Hilary Campbell, Varsity Center Forward, has signed to play water polo and swim for Chapman University. She started playing water polo her sophomore year and was the Frosh/Soph Team MVP. She spent two years on Varsity Water Polo and three years on Varsity Swim, where she was part of three South Coast League Championship teams. As a senior, she was the Offensive MVP on the water polo team and was named to the All South Coast League team. She was also chosen to play for the South team in the Orange County All-Star Game. Campbell may be remembered most for scoring the game winning goal in a heated sudden death overtime match against Dana Hills.
